Two big seasons begin shortly after Thanksgiving—Sailfish and Santa! This is one of best times of year to live on Treasure Coast. It’s also a time of year that many seasonal residents and tourists come to our area. Whether you get your thrills buy catching and releasing the mighty sailfish or by Christmas Trees and the arrival of Santa, you’re in for a good time!
Sailfish season runs through February. According to this recent article in TCPalm, area charter boats are already reporting six or seven sailfish catch and releases per day. As more cold fronts come through the region, more sailfish—and larger trophy fish—will be swimming just a few miles off-shore. To celebrate the season, several sailfish tournaments are scheduled.
